The dive
An advanced cavern dive for those with perfect buoyancy control.
Cenote Dream Gate is widely considered the most beautiful and intricate cavern in the Riviera Maya. It is so densely decorated that it appeared in the BBC’s 'Planet Earth' documentary. Unlike the wide-open spaces of Dos Ojos, Dream Gate is intimate and narrow. The dark sediment on the bottom absorbs the light, making the white limestone formations pop in the darkness like marble statues. It is a dive that demands focus, but rewards you with the most spectacular views in the Yucatan.
We guide you through the full circuit (Upstream and Downstream lines), showing you the majestic "columns" where stalactites and stalagmites have joined over thousands of years.
This is a 'fin-pivot' free zone. Our guides are experts in trim and buoyancy who will help you adjust your weights perfectly before entering, ensuring you glide without touching a single

The sheer quantity of formations is overwhelming. Everywhere you look, there is a detail, a curtain, or a straw-like stalactite.

Completing this dive without touching anything gives you a profound sense of accomplishment and validates your skills as a diver.
