It’s like testing the waters, so to speak, and deciding later if it’s something that you want to pursue further.

What to Expect

• Our Discovery Diving program is designed to introduce non-divers who are at least 10 years old and in good physical condition to scuba diving in a confined setting. We have been doing this for more than 32 years now and our constant goal is to teach scuba diving skills in an easy, fun, non-intimidating, and safe way.
• Thirty minutes are dedicated to learning the theories in a classroom session at our dive shop here in Cancun. You will be taught how to use scuba equipment and what to expect when you go underwater. There will be three ocean dives after the classroom training; the first dive will start from the beach to practice the skills learned in the classroom session. Once you’ve mastered the basics, we’ll hop on a boat and go on two coral reef dives around Cancun. Here, you’ll dive to a maximum depth of 30 feet and see the wonderful world underneath the sea.
• Our certified diving instructors will go at a pace that’s comfortable with you and will guide you every step of the day to ensure your safety. If you enjoyed the experience of diving and exploring in a controlled setting, you might want to proceed to the Open Water Diver Course.
