This isn’t just a dive trip; it’s an expedition for the bold. Available exclusively during the winter months, the Bull Shark Extreme Package combines the technical beauty of the cenotes with the raw power of the ocean’s apex predators. Over three days, you will transition from the calm, crystal-clear jungle waters to the high-voltage arena of Playa del Carmen, where you will come face-to-face with massive Bull Sharks. It is the most exhilarating way to save $41 USD on your diving vacation.
Day 1: The Cenote Experience
We start with perfect visibility. You will head into the jungle to dive a Cenote (freshwater sinkhole). With no waves or currents, it’s the ideal place to perfect your buoyancy before the shark dive. Glide past thousand-year-old stalactites and stalagmites in water so clear it looks like air.
Day 2: Cancun Reefs or MUSA
Back to the ocean. Explore the famous Cancun National Marine Park. This day typically includes a visit to the Underwater Museum (MUSA)—a surreal collection of coral-encrusted statues—and a vibrant reef dive. It’s a colorful and relaxing day to enjoy the Caribbean biodiversity.
Day 3: The Main Event – Bull Sharks
The grand finale takes place in Playa del Carmen. We descend to a sandy bottom where female Bull Sharks congregate. You will kneel and observe these majestic creatures gliding just meters away from you. It is a heart-pounding, humbling, and completely safe interaction managed by expert shark handlers.
Tanks: 1 Observation Dive + 1 Reef Dive (conditions permitting).
To ensure safety during the Shark interaction, this package requires:
Certification: Open Water Scuba Certification (or higher).
Age: 10 Years or older.
Season: Only available November through February.

6 Dives Total: Two-tank boat dives every day for 3 days.
