Many divers rush off to distant sites and miss the magic right at their doorstep. The Best of Cancun Local Package is designed to prove that Cancun’s barrier reef is world-class. Over three days, you will explore the rich marine biodiversity of Punta Cancun, penetrate a historic Minesweeper wreck, and have the unique flexibility to swap a day dive for a Night Dive. It’s the perfect mix of convenience, adventure, and savings.
Day 1: Reef Exploration (or Night Dive)
Start strong by exploring the pristine barrier reef of the Cancun National Marine Park. Expect to see colorful coral-encrusted sculptures and abundant marine life like angelfish, barracudas, and rays.
Flexibility: You can choose to do this as a morning 2-tank dive OR swap it for a mysterious 2-tank Night Dive to see the reef come alive in the dark.
Start Time: 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM (You decide).
Day 2: The Minesweeper Wreck
Descend into history. This day is dedicated to the famous Minesweeper Wreck (C-55 or C-58). These sunken navy ships are now artificial reefs teeming with life. You’ll navigate around the hull and decks, often surrounded by large schools of snappers and eagle rays.
We will schedule Day 2 & 3 directly with you during your first day.
Day 3: Reef Safari (or Night Dive)
For your final day, dive back into the “rainforest of the ocean.” Visit different sections of the reef or Punta Cancun.
Flexibility: Missed the night dive on Day 1? Use your Day 3 slot to experience the underwater world under the moonlight. The choice is yours.
To participate in the Wreck and Night dives safely, this package requires:
Certification: Open Water Scuba Certification (or higher)
Age: 10 Years or older.
Comfort: Divers should be comfortable with boat entries and descent.

6 Dives Total: Three separate trips (2 tanks per trip).
Full Scuba Gear: BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask, Fins, and Weights included.
